No, none whatsoever. A doula is not expected or allowed to involve herself with anything medical or clinical in the birthing field. A doula's role is to support the woman's needs and her decisions, not to help her to decide or make any decisions on her behalf. Medical or clinical duties are for midwifes, obstetricians, doctors and clinical staff only.
